UM Neurological Surgery Team Wins National Charity Softball Tournament

Twenty-eight teams of neurosurgeons from some of the top medical institutions across the United States and Canada competed June 9 at the 9th Annual Neurosurgery Charity Softball Tournament in New York City. But it was the Miller School’s Department of Neurological Surgery that took home the title.

Dr. Kevin K. Park Selected as 2012 Pew Scholar in Biomedical Sciences

Twenty-two of the nation’s most innovative young researchers, including Kevin K. Park, Ph.D., assistant professor of neurological surgery and The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, were named Pew Scholars in the Biomedical Sciences by The Pew Charitable Trusts on June 14.
